Have you ever wanted to build plastic models but were unsure where to start? This workshop may be perfect for you!
The workshop – sponsored by IPMS Ottawa and in conjunction with Vintage Wings of Canada – will focus on basic skills when starting into the hobby of scale plastic model building. The workshop will be held in the Vintage Wings hangar where Vintage Wings of Canada and the Michael U. Potter Collection are housed.
We encourage you to bring along a plastic model kit and your tools. Experienced modellers will give presentations about the basics of model building to help you improve your skills. Topics covered will include: planning & preparation, tools, and various building methods for making better models. After morning presentations and a lunch break, there will be breakout building sessions where the presenters will be provide hands-on advice and assistance.
Cost: $15 for members (Vintage Wings or IPMS) - $25 for non-members
