Vintage Wings of Canada operates year round from its newly completed state-of-the-art hangar and maintenance facility at the Ottawa/Gatineau Airport (CYND) just 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa, the capital of Canada. Designed in the vernacular of early aviation facilities, this 23,000 sq ft purpose-built hangar houses not only our extensive collection of historic aircraft, but also complete maintenance facilities, aviation library, workshops, offices and other amenity spaces.
Our hours of hangar operation are from 0900 hrs to 1600 hours daily throughout the year. Pre-organized group tours, visits from aircraft and veterans are welcome. Just contact Mindy Shea at 819.669.9603 extension 221 to make proper arrangements.
There are no fees for light SINGLE ENGINE aircraft, but Gatineau charges landing fees for light twins, including instrument approaches and touch and goes.
When driving from Ottawa, visitors should take King Edward Ave, north to the McDonald-Cartier Bridge following Quebec Autoroute 5 North to the Autoroute 50 exit (Exit 2 - about one kilometre after the Ottawa River). Head east on Autoroute 50 for about 20 kilometres to the Boulevard de l’Aeroport exit (Exit 154). Turn left onto Boulevard de l’Aeroport and follow it until it turns into Rue Arthur Fecteau. We’re at the very end of the road.
Our address is:
