Educate, Commemorate, Inspire & Enable

At Vintage Wings of Canada, it is our mandate to share the amazing story of flight in Canada with all Canadians through our education programs, flying events and hangar tours.

Vintage Wings of Canada's hangar is open to the public most Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., except holiday weekends. Please check our website for other Saturday closures, which may occur due to special events or other reasons.

Weekday tours are available by appointment only. Walk-in tours during weekdays are only available if volunteer docents are present at the facility. For more details and to avoid disappointment, please contact us to schedule an appointment and ensure that a weekday tour can be accommodated.

Guided tours are conducted by volunteers who escort visitors throughout the Vintage Wings aircraft collection, enabling them to get close to these rare and historic birds.

In addition to fascinating and colourful anecdotes about each individual aircraft, your tour guide will describe the significance of the aircraft type as it relates to Canadian aviation history as well as the program “In His Name”. You should plan about an hour and a half (1:30) for the visit.

The admission fee for a tour is $10 per person (Veterans, VW Members and Children under 10 are free). Special rates are available for groups of more than 10 persons.

Group fees are as follows:

  • 8$ per person
  • For school groups or squadrons: free admittance for each chaperone of a group of 10 children under 18

All funds collected are used for the direct care and maintenance of the aircraft in the collection.

To arrange a group tour for your class, club or cadet squadron, please contact us at least two weeks in advance.
